From Campus to Career: Alumni Insights on STEM Education and Employment

What turns a degree into a dream job? We explored that journey together during our From Campus to Career event, hosted on June 6th, 2024. Tailored for International Students in the School of Engineering, a panel of seasoned professional engineers dove into their personal journeys – discussing the challenges of navigating the job market post-graduation and the top skills in demand today.

Supporting Students in their Transition into the Canadian Job Market

Our goal was to bridge the gap between academic preparation and real-world employment in STEM fields, giving panelists a platform to share candid insights about their personal career journeys and helping international students understand how to navigate the challenges in the Canadian job market. Judging from the flood of DMs from students over the weekend, our mission was definitely accomplished.
